Donetsk, Apr 13 – DAN. DPR authorities have limited traffic in Novyi Svet, where the Starobeshevo thermal power plant is located, due to the COVID-19 threat.
"Due to the COVID-19 spread it has been decided to temporary limit entry/exit from the Novyi Svet township. It is a necessary precaution to protect the employees of the Starobeshevo thermal power plant, to preserve the strategic object."
Starobeshevo thermal power plant is one of the DPR most important energy objects.
On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection spread.
DRR has imposed a number of restriction on public events, restaurants and educational institutions. Individuals are subject to fines of 30-60 thousand rubles, while officials have to pay 40-80 thousand rubles if they violate the measures. Individual entrepreneurs risk 80-100 thousand rubles.
