Donetsk, Aug 9 – DAN. DPR says 354 of its residents are listed as missing, the Republic's Ombudswoman Daria Morozova said.
The Interministerial Commission and Working Group for Searching Burial Sites of Victims of Ukrainian Aggression were established in the DPR and LPR on August 6 and July 20, respectively. The group is also to look for missing persons and to commemorate the memory of the victims.
The DPR Comission is led by Morozova, her LPR counterpart is Anna Soroka.
"Currently, 354 people are on the list of missing persons," Morozova said.
"We must activate all our reserves to identify their location."
Nearly 130 burial sites of missing persons have been found in the DPR since 2014, remains of 253 persons have been retrieved.
More than 5,000 people in the DPR have been killed in the conflict, including 91 children. More than 8,000 sustained injuries, 1,600-plus have become disabled. *ot
