Donetsk, Dec 24 – DAN. DPR Ministry of Industry and Trade expects steel industry production to boost in 2019, said the ministry's head Eduard Armatov.
"We plan to boost main steel industry production: pig-iron by 18 percent, steel by 22 percent, metal-roll by 24 percent, coke by 10 percent; sales of industrial production – by 15 percent, to reach expected 115 bln rubles ($2,1 bln) threshold."
The ministry said that plans for 2019 include increasing plants workload, their re-profiling to manufacture new products. *ot
