DPR Hero Mikhail Tolstykh laid to rest in Donetsk cemetery

Donetsk, Feb 10 – DAN. Somali unit commander Colonel Mikhail Tolstykh was buried with full military honours in DPR capital’s Donetskoye More cemetery on Friday.

In October 2016, famous Sparta unit commander, DPR Hero Arsen Pavlov was killed in a terrorist attack masterminded by Ukrainian secret services. The graves of these two famed Donbass defenders are next to each other.

The civil funeral which gathered 55,000 people overall began at the city Opera and Ballet Theatre. The mourners’ line reached Donetsk's main square. The mourners then walked in a procession along central Artyom Street. *jk
