Donetsk, Jul 3 – DAN. DPR Health Ministry plans to carry out 200 endoprosthesis replacements till the end of the year, said DPR acting Minister of Health Alexander Oprischenko.
"Till the end of the year we plan to carry out 200 endoprosthesis replacement surgeries on hip joints for people on the preferential terms list," he said.
The operations are made on a free-of-charge basis for the people on the preferential terms list, formed on the basis of applications and their subsequent confirmations.
"We receive endoprostheses as humanitarian aid from Russia; partly we buy them on budget." *ot
