Donetsk, 13 Oct - DAN. DPR expects a batch of oxygen concentrators for patients with lung inflammation, the Ministry of Health said.
"We expect a batch of 500 oxygen concentrators soon, to support critical patients with community-acquired pneumonia. The equipment will be distributed among DPR hospitals," the report reads.
Earlier this week, DPR warned of extremely alarming situation as COVID-19 incidence grew.
On Wednesday, DPR has registered a record-breaking 1,005 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, 387 patients have been taken to hospitals with pneumonia, 172 of them are on oxygen.
Of 3,974 hospital beds in the DPR 1,224 provide oxygen support.
