Donetsk, Oct 5 - DAN. DPR agribusinesses threshed almost 400,000 tons of grain in 2017, Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry press service reported on Thursday.
“A total of 399,100 tons of grain have been produced, a 5-percent increase from 2016,” the press service said.
Grain and leguminous crops were harvested on an area of 136,900 hectares exceeding last year crop area by 14 percent. Average yield reached 29,2 centners per hectare (one centner equals 100 kilogrammes).*jk
