Donetsk, Feb 7 – DAN. DPR first responders have rescued 202 people stranded by snow drifts and pulled out 34 vehicles in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Emergencies reported.

"As of February 7, the ministry's rescue teams pulled 34 vehicles out of the snow and plucked 202 people to safety, including six children."

The weather across the DPR worsened in the morning of February 5 bringing along powerful blizzards and leaving many townships without power and impeding traffic.

This morning, 112 pieces of equipment and 474 personnel of the Emergencies Ministry and 37 pieces of equipment and 96 employees of the Avtodor state public utilities company are working to clean the roads of snow and release trapped vehicles. *ot
