Donetsk, Jan 29 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic employment centres found permanent or temporary jobs for nearly 36,000 people last year, Republican Employment Centre deputy director Tamara Tsurikova said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The DPR labour market situation remains stable,” Tsurikova said. “In 2018, permanent and temporary jobs were provided to 35,795 people or 80.4 percent of the job seekers on file.”
As many as 25,611 got permanent jobs in the designated period, she added. Last year, the Republican Employment Centre filed 44,496 people.
The DPR set up the Employment Centre on December 9, 2014 to help residents in their search for jobs and subsequent employment. It also provides retraining in various fields and seasonal jobs.*jk
