Donetsk, Nov 29 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic employment centres found jobs for more than 31,000 people in the first ten months of this year, Republican Employment Centre deputy director Tamara Tsurikova said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“Over the first ten months of 2018, DPR employment centres had 39,500 job seeks on record; employment was provided to 31,200,” Tsurikova said.

Permanent jobs were provided to 21,700 people and temporary jobs to another 9,500, she added. Overall, 79 percent of job seekers found employment.

The DPR  set up the Republican Employment Centre on December 9, 2014. It also provides retraining in various fields and offers seasonal jobs.

Earlier reports said the Centre had found jobs for nearly 150,000 people since 2015.*jk
