Donetsk, Jun 21 – DAN. DPR Employment Centers assisted nearly 22 thousand people in finding jobs in the first five months of the year, said the Republican Employment Center director Tamara Kozenko.

"In in the first five months of 2017 DPR Employment Centers assisted 21.6 thousand people in getting jobs: 8.9 thousand people were employed permanently, and 12.7 got temporary jobs. The Center also helped 221 disabled persons to find jobs."

Most people pursue careers in mining, trade, security services and health care, she said.

Kozenko added that 27 thousand people have been put on the job waiting list since January. In the five months of 2017, 15.3 thousand vacancies were registered with the Center: eight thousand of them are labor jobs, 5.2 thousand "white-collar" jobs, and two thousand unskilled jobs.

DPR Employment Center was established on December 9, 2014. It aims at employing people from DPR and retraining them. *ot
