Donetsk, Sep 13 - DAN. Production increase in the key branches of the Donetsk People’s Republic industry amounted to 1.7 percent to 150 percent in the first six months of this year, the DPR Economic Development Ministry reported.
“In January to July 2019 the output of basic products in the key branches increased year-on-year,” the report said.
The increase was reported in the mining, food, chemical, metallurgical, machine building and construction materials industries.
The production of steel increased by 23.6 percent, primary form plastics by 20.5 percent and soil engineering, stone working and ore dressing machines by 44 percent. The highest increase was posted by producers of pork, beef, veal, meat and poultry (up 2.5 times or 150 percent) and open alloyed steel profiles (2.4 times or 140 percent).*jk
