Donetsk, Aug 20 – DAN. Stirol plant in frontline Gorlovka has launched some sections of the treatment of industrial waste water shop.

"Today, the first stage of the main production line relaunch took place at the Stirol plant. New sections of industrial waste water treatment shop have been launched in accordance with the plan designed by the operational headquarters to restore mass production of mineral fertilizers at the Stirol plant.

The next stage includes the restart of units supplying the main production line with water and steam, and subsequent installation of the power grid.

"At the final stage we shall be restarting the full-scale production of ammonia, carbamide and ammonium nitrate," the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Industry said quoting the plant's director Maxim Chepak.

Stirol is one of the oldest and biggest manufacturers of nitrogen fertilizers in Donbass, located in frontline Gorlovka. In March 2017 after Kiev refused to lift economic blockade it imposed on the region, the plant was transferred under external management.
DPR authorities plan to launch the Stirol plant in Q2 2018. As the enterprise reaches full capacity it will employ 3,000 people. *ot
