Donetsk, Jul 18 - DAN. DPR authorities paid over 4.5 million rubles worth of wage arrears in the first half of 2017, the Republic’s State Inspectorate for Monitoring Compliance with Labour Legislation said on Tuesday.
“The Inspectorate is closely watching the enterprises having arrears in salaries. It has been ascertained that employers have paid 4,538,700 RUR worth of wage arrears,” the Inspectorate’s press service said.
DPR Chief State Labour Inspector Sergey Chernobrivets said 423 checks had been carried out at domestic companies since the beginning of this year. State inspectors issued 318 statements demanding elimination of the violations exposed in the course of checks; employers fully complied with 251 demands within the designated timeframes.
The State Inspectorate for Monitoring Compliance with Labour Legislation was set up by DPR head’s decree dated 4 June 2015 by merging separate agencies dealing with state policies in labour relations.*jk
