Donetsk, Jan 23 - DAN. DPR will pay over 151 million rubles worth of benefits to 62,000 residents in January, the Republic’s Labour and Social Policy Ministry told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“Payment of benefits is effected through the Republic’s Central Bank and Donbass Post state-owned enterprise; 62,000 people will be paid a total of 151.2 million rubles,” the press service said.
Tuesday launches the second phase of social payments for eight groups of recipients including families with children up to three years, legal guardians accountable for children up to 18 years of age and large families.
Welfare payments for six other groups of DPR residents have been made since 11 January. Details are available on the Labour and Social Policy Ministry website.
DPR began to pay larger social benefits in January. Earlier, acting Labour and Social Policy Minister Larisa Tolstykina said that more than 10,000 residents were eligible for this assistance.
In 2017, DPR residents received more than three billion rubles worth of social benefits. Annual monthly payments to more than 167,000 recipients totalled 260 million rubles on the average. *jk
