Donetsk, Jan 25 - DAN. Welfare payments to DPR residents will exceed 40 percent of the Republic’s first quarter budget spending, the DPR Finance Ministry press service told Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“DPR’s budget in the first quarter of 2018 is community-focused. More than 40 percent of expenditure is earmarked for welfare payments to the population through Labour and Social Policy Ministry and welfare funds,” a press service representative said.
The rest of the money will be used to cover the maintenance of state educational institutions, medical centres, sport and cultural facilities and social security organisations.
In January 2018, DPR increased the minimum monthly pension to 2,904 rubles and certain kinds of allowances. *jk
