Donetsk, Jun 4 – DAN. The activists of the Donetsk Republic social movement and Young Republic social organization have organized a flash mob estimated at a hundred people at the Donetsk central square to commemorate the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression.

The participants lined up to form a peace dove-shaped figure carrying letters saying "Donbass children (call) for peace".

"Every country, every nation values children above all. Their laughter and smiles make adults change this world into a better place. Unfortunately the Donbass war had its say claiming over 100 little lives with Ukrainian shells. We want to commemorate our lost little angels on this day," the head of the Donetsk Republic social movement executive committee Natalia Volkova said.

The International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression is a UN-established day originally focused on victims of the 1982 Israeli strike on Beirut during the Lebanon War, killing a huge number of Palestinian and Lebanese children. *ot
