Donetsk, Aug 15 – DAN. Ukraine's war against Donbass has orphaned 41 children in the DPR, said the Republic's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
"As a result of military action, 41 DPR children have been orphaned."
The Ministry's representative said that all the children who lost their parents to war have been put into families, under the care of their relatives.
The war broke out in Donbass in April 2014 when Ukrainian army shelled Slavyansk in the night of April 12-13, while the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine announced the so-called "anti-terrorist operation" at around 8.30 in the morning of April 13.
The latest data provided by the DPR Ombudswoman's office showed that 4,673 people were killed during the armed conflict, including 78 minors. *ot
