Donetsk, Dec 25 - DAN. The Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS) was left without electricity on Tuesday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry press service said.
“An emergency power cutoff occurred at the facility operated by the Voda Donbassa state-owned enterprise,” the press service said adding that specialists were looking into the cause.
Water is currently supplied via the Verkhne-Kalmiusskaya Water Treatment Plant.
The DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said that a Voda Donbassa team together with JCCC monitors would go to the scene to carry out repairs.
The DFS is located in a frontline area outside Yasinovataya and feeds water to over 400,000 customers on both sides of the contact line.*jk
