Donetsk, Oct 20 – DAN. Donetsk state road maintenance company has installed 174 ramps for wheelchairs on the city's streets since the spring 2017, Donetsk administration said.
"The state road maintenance company has installed 174 ramps in 2017, in all nine districts of the city. The major part of the ramps have been installed in Kirovskiy, Kuibyshevskiy, Voroshilovskiy, Proletarskiy districts," the mayor's press service said.
This winter, Donetsk administration developed a plan for promoting accessibility following the initiative of New Life disabled people organization. Streets, public buildings, bus stops and other infrastructure are to be upgraded to be accessible for people with disabilities. *ot
