Donetsk not to host parades, public events on May holidays

Donetsk, May 2 — DAN. Donetsk city authorities will not hold public events on May holidays due to active hostilities, City Hall officials told the Donetsk News Agency.

“Due to active hostilities in the Donetsk area, the organization of parades or public events during the May 1,2023 — May 11,2023 holidays does not appear possible, ” City Hall said.

However, the city administration has planned online events which will take place in all city districts. 

Earlier reports said that Victory Day events including the Immortal Regiment action will take place in Makeyevka in the online format.*jk
