Donetsk, Aug 7 — DAN. Donetsk authorities will not hold public events and shows to mark City Day later this month because of the military situation, a City Hall official said on Monday.
“No City Day celebrations are planned, ” he told the Donetsk News Agency.
Authorities are considering online events and small-scale shows in different parts of the city but the final decision will be made closer to City Day which Donetsk marks on the last Sunday of August. The City Hall might also cancel the traditional vintage tram show.
