Donetsk, Dec 2 – DAN. More than 13,000 peopled were killed in the Donbass armed conflict, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova speaking at an Arria-Formula basis today at the UNSC event.
"Since the moment Kiev unleashed its so-called anti-terror operation against Donbass, that was later renamed to the Joint Forces Operation, we have been living in the conditions of a civil war. Six years into the situation, 13 thousand people died in Donbass, 149 of them are children, and 30 thousand people were injured."
The "Arria-formula meetings" are very informal, confidential gatherings, which enable Security Council members to have a frank and private exchange of views, within a flexible procedural framework.
Today's meeting covered the issues of the Minsk Agreements implementation, the obstacles in the peace settlement and analyses of possible solutions to the crisis. *ot
