Donetsk, Jul 2 - DAN. The Donbass Post state-owned enterprise will issue postage stamps devoted to Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, valuable exhibits at DPR museums and outstanding German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, Donbass Post representatives announced at a press conference at the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“In 2021, we plan to issue stamps devoted to well-known Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, 100th anniversary of the Donetsk National Technical University and World Post Day as well as a series highlighting the most valuable exhibits at our museum,” head of the Donbass Post Stamp Collecting Department Rushan Aigestov said.

Collecting Department specialist Valeria Sinitsyna said that Donbass Post would issue stamps with images of well-known historical figures such as Russian poet Afanasy Fet and German composer Ludwig van Beethoven.

Donbass Post issued the first postage stamp on May 9, 2015. As of now, it has issued 218 stamps with the Stalin stamp topping the list in terms of popularity.*jk
