Donetsk, Aug 9 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic residents can make money transfers without entering the recipient’s address; the new service is available starting Thursday, the state-owned company Donbass Post press service said.

“The sender is not required to enter the address, so the wired money can be collected in any DPR settlement which has a Donbass Post office,” the report said.

The transfer procedure has been significantly streamlined. The sender has to show their passport, pay the amount the be transferred and get the secret code. Before wiring the money, Donbass Post sends an SMS message to the recipient to inform them about the upcoming transfer.

“We only declare the new service in the Republic’s territory. The maximum and minimum sums collected on demand are 10,000 rubles and 100 rubles, respectively. Donbass Post charges 20 rubles for transfers up to 1,000 rubles and 1.5 percent of the total sum for the transfers in excess of 1,000 rubles.

Donbass Post  was established in October 2014. It handles mail, cargo delivery, including from Russia, payment of pensions and welfare benefits, utility services bills, money transfers etc.*jk
