Debaltsevo bus explosion casualties rise to four, all of them children

Donetsk, May 23 – DAN. One child has been killed, another three wounded in a bus explosion in Debaltsevo today, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

"The explosion has killed one and wounded three kids, eight-grade pupils of the school No.5 in Debaltsevo," he said.
All of the casualties are aged between 14 and 16.

"The children were heading home from school, one of them had a grenade in his backpack, it exploded when detonated."

Yakubov urged all parents to speak to their children of the potential dangers of explosives devices to prevent such incidents.

Earlier reports put the number of casualties at two. They have been taken to hospital in critical condition. *ot
