Donetsk, Aug 30 - DAN. A resident of the Kominternovo village in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic has been wounded in shelling by Ukrainian forces, a Novoazovskiy district administration official told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“A 82-year-old woman was wounded in the yard of a house in Kirov Street in the Kominternovo village,” the official said.
The area came under fire at approximately 7:30 a.m.; the victim was rushed to hospital and is now taking treatment, she added.
A team of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain evidence of the aftermath of the shelling.
Reports on Wednesday said a house in Kominternovo had burnt down as a result of Ukrainian army strikes.
The new ceasefire agreed by the Contract Group for peaceful Donbass conflict settlement on August 22, came into force at 00:01 on Wednesday.*jk
