Donetsk, Sep 12 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry employees hurt in the Wednesday shelling by Ukrainian forces are in satisfactory condition; however, one of them had to undergo arm amputation, the DPR Health Care Ministry press service told the Donetsk News Agency.
“After yesterday’s strike, one victim with smashed hand and shoulder was hospitalised to the Republican Traumatology Centre,” a press service representative said. “Doctors had to perform arm amputation surgery on him.”
His two colleagues had been hospitalised to Donetsk Hospital No 14, she added.
“All the victims are in satisfactory conditions; nothing threatens their life,” the press service said.
Three Emergencies Ministry employees suffered wounds of varying severity as they came under fire in the Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhood in western Donetsk on Wednesday. The rescuers were putting out a fire started by a previous Ukrainian strike at the area.*jk
