Donetsk, May 19 — DAN. Nearly 1,000 war-damaged single-family homes have been restored across the Donetsk People’s Republic since the beginning of this year, DPR Deputy Minister of Construction and Utilities Maxim Zhukovsky said on Friday.
“The work is underway in the DPR to rebuild single family neighborhoods, ” Zhukovsky said. “Repairs have been completed on 929 homes since the beginning of 2023.”
DPR authorities plan to rebuild more than 3,000 homes this year. Some 700 construction workers are involved in ongoing housing sector repairs in Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, Volnovakha, Mariupol and the Novoazovsk, Telmanovo and Volnovakha districts.*jk
