Donetsk May 23 - DAN. Eighty-five residents from Kiev-controlled territory of Donetsk Region registered in DPR for receiving medical assistance under the ongoing humanitarian programme.
“The Donbass people reunification humanitarian program is gaining momentum,” DPR acting Healthcare Minister Alexander Oprishchenko told a news briefing at Donetsk News Agency.
“As many as 85 people are on the waiting lists already,” Oprishchenko said.
The ministry’s hotlines operators have taken more than 1,500 calls from residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donetsk Region. All the applications and documents submitted by the people seeking medical treatment in DPR are entered in electronic register.
On February 17, DPR and LPR Heads Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitskiy launched the program of humanitarian assistance to residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donbass. The main goal of the programme is to support socially vulnerable groups.
Medical assistance includes pacemaker implantation, obstetric services, oncohematology chemotherapy for all age groups, hip replacement, and chemotherapy for adults and children with cancer.*jk
