Donetsk, Jan 10 – DAN. More than 700 people have donated blood for the sick and wounded since the Donetsk Republic social movement launched the project in April 2016.

“As of now, more than 700 people have participated, including DPR People’s Council deputies and public officers,” DR activists told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.Blood was donated for wounded militiamen and cancer patients. “One hundred people donated blood for Aleksey Popovich, a boy presenting with leukemia,” a DR member said.

The project “We Are of the Same Blood” is being implemented across the DPR. It invites all potential donors without contraindications.*jk
