Donetsk, Sep 1 - DAN. Thirty-nine new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Tuesday.
“August 31 tests revealed 39 new COVID-19 cases,” the report said. Twenty-three people have fully recovered and left hospitals, and no COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded since Monday.
As of September 1, coronavirus infection has been found in 125 people who came from Ukraine in the period starting June 25, 2020. All the patients were taken to DPR specialised medical centres and are receiving treatment free of charge, the DPR Healthcare Ministry said.
The DPR currently has 2,560 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 1,236 patients have convalesced and 141 have died. Ukraine has reported 2,080 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours; 123,303 people have got infected and 2,318 have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk
