Donetsk, Mar 20 - DAN. The Call Centre for public discussion of the Donetsk People’s Republic development strategy Donbass Power has received more than 380 proposals, Donetsk Republic social movement Central Executive Committee head Natalia Volkova said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency.

“The discussion of the Republic’s development strategy Donbass Power is ongoing, per orders of the chairman of our social movement, DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko. As of March 20, the Centre has taken 383 calls,” Volkova said.

One hundred and forty-two queries addressed social issues, 158 addressed economic issues and 83 callers were concerned with politics, she said showing a map of the areas from which the calls had originated.

Various events and “round table” meetings are arranged as part of the public discussion of the development programme. As of today, 13 key events have taken place involving 1,345 people. Some 10,360 DPR residents took part in public gatherings and meetings at enterprises.

"All the recommendations are filed, grouped and processed and will be considered for inclusion into the Republic’s development strategy,” Volkova said.

At the Donetsk Republic social movement conference on March 1, its chairman DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko called for drawing a long-term DPR development strategy and its broad public discussion. DPR development proposals are expected to make up the basis of Zakharchenko’s election programme.*jk
