Donetsk, Aug 13 - DAN. Thirty-five new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“August 12 tests revealed 35 new COVID-19 cases; four of the infected arrived from Ukraine,” the report said.
The other patients including five medics caught novel coronavirus because of earlier contacts with the infected. Their condition is satisfactory; all of them are receiving necessary medical assistance. Twenty people have been discharged from hospitals with two negative tests since Wednesday, the Ministry said.
The DPR currently has 2,015 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 958 patients have convalesced, 942 are undergoing treatment and 115 have died, according to the Ministry.
Ukraine reported 86,140 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of August 13 and 1,592 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours.*jk
