Donetsk, Dec 21 — DAN. Almost 300 medics and pharmacologists from the Donetsk People’s Republic have turned up for the special examination which is required for getting a job in other Russian regions, Russia’s Federal Service for Supervision in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) told the Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.
“In the period from February 24 through November 30, 2022, 295 DPR residents who received medical or pharmacological education in a foreign state applied for taking a special examination, ” Roszdravnadzor said.
Two hundred and forty-four applicants have been allowed to take the examination, it added. In 2023, some 800 specialists are expected to graduate from the Donetsk National Medical University.
A special examination is needed for persons who received medical or pharmacological education in foreign states and seek to practice medicine or pharmacology in Russia.*jk
