Donetsk, May 8 - DAN. Eighteen holiday centres and recreation camps will resume operation in the resort village of Sedovo on the shore of the Sea of Azov in summer, the administration of the Donetsk People’s Republic Novoazovskiy district told the Donetsk News Agency.
“We plan to open 18 holiday centres and recreation camps. If the weather if good, a majority of them will open on June 1,” an administration official said.
Private accommodation is an option to be provided by Sedovo residents, he added.
Sedovo, located in the south of the Republic, is popular with DPR and LPR residents as a resort. Last season, it had nearly 65,000 holiday-makers.
Earlier reports said DPR Construction and Public Utilities Ministry specialists had presented a concept to develop Sedovo. The project envisions main street upgrade, replacement of water lines, shore reinforcement works, expansion of roads, construction of a bus terminal and remodelling of a museum.*jk
