Donetsk, Aug 10 - DAN. Sixteen people including two children were taken to medical centres after a collision between two buses in Donetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry reported on Tuesday.
“At 12:00, an accident on the Donetsk Makeyevka road was reported via hotline 101; it involved a Donetsk-Snezhnoye mini bus, Donetsk-Makeyevka bus N 111 and a Nissan Almera,” the report said. “Sixteen people including two children were taken to medical centres as a result of the accident.”
The Ministry sent a rescue team to scene to help the victims.
Upon arriving, the rescuers found that a passenger got her feet trapped due to bus body deformation. They used pneumatic equipment to extricate the woman before handing her over to ambulance personnel.
Eight rescuers and two pieces of equipment were sent to the scene to provide assistance, the Ministry added.*jk
