Donetsk, May 6 - DAN. One hundred and twenty-six new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Thursday.
“DPR medics have carried out 347 tests since Wednesday; 81 people tested positive and another 45 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said. One hundred and nine patients have recovered and five have died over the designated period.
Two hundred and twenty-eight rapid tests have shown 61 reinfections which brings the number of such cases to 1,492 since March 18, 2021.
The DPR currently has 33,860 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 26,773 patients recovered, 4,531 continue treatment and 2,556 died, according to the latest reports.*jk
