Donetsk, Apr 4 — DAN. More than 100 houses have been damaged in the liberated Volodarsky district of the Donetsk People’s Republic, an official said on Tuesday.

“Eleven apartment buildings and 104 single family homes have been damaged by shelling and fighting since February 2022, ” district administration head Sergey Yuzvinkevich told the Donetsk News Agency. “Damage was also caused to the central district hospital, two paramedical and midwifery stations, three town halls, a village culture center, a kindergarten and six other social facilities.”

The Volodarsky district is located in the south of the Republic. Russian forces liberated it from Ukrainian troops in the spring of 2022. In early June, DPR Head Denis Pushilin issued a decree creating a local administration. The district is famous for its well-developed agricultural sector. It was one of the major contributors to the DPR’s large grain harvest last year. *jk
