Donetsk, Aug 23 - DAN. About one hundred companies of the Donetsk People’s Republic are taking part in the two-day fair which opened in Donetsk’s Lenin Komsomol Park on Thursday.
The opening ceremony was attended by DPR Council of Ministers deputy chairman, Tax and Revenue Minister Alexander Trofimov, Industry and Trade Minister Alexey Granovskiy and other officials.
“We build new factories creating more jobs and making life better for the Republic’s residents. It is our objective,” said Timofeyev.
DPR companies’ exhibition stands lined from the Victoria Hotel to the monument to Donbass liberators. Visitors can see products of domestic metallurgical, engineering, chemical and pharmaceutical companies and other branches of DPR industry.
The Torez Electrotechnical Plant presented Loader-Digger TETZ-114. The Donetsk Energozavod company displayed explosion proof mining equipment such as a power source, a soft starter and a packaged transformer substation. The Donbas passenger bus, Donfrost refrigerators and domestically produced furniture are also on display.
Visitors were offered discounts on meat and sausage, confectionery, bread, vegetables and knit wear.
“Some 100 companies are displaying their products at the fair. It shows that we’ve restored the industrial potential and the status of industrial region. This has been accomplished by the DPR Head’s team,” Granovskiy noted.
The fair, timed with Donetsk’s City Day and Miner’s Day, was organised by the DPR Industry and Trade Ministers with the support of head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko.*jk
