Donetsk, Jan 25 – DAN. DPR school graduates will be able to pass Russian Unified State Exam in the DPR for the first time ever this year, the head of the Republican Authority for Monitoring in Education and Science Lyubov Volkova said.
"DPR graduates have been taking the Unified State Exam since 2016 in the Rostov Region. This year they will be able to take it in the DPR for the first time," she said.
Volkova said that this has become possible thanks to the cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Education, Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science, Duma Committee for Education and Science.
A joint working group has been working on cost estimates, organization of exams, technical details, delivery of materials, establishing communication channels and training of examiners.
Federal Service for Supervision has approved four locations for the exam: Gymnasium No 61 in Donetsk, School No 2 in Makeyevka, School No 14 in Gorlovka, Donetsk National University of Economy and Trade.
The Unified State Exam is a mandatory final graduation exam in Russia, which was adopted in 2009. The results are used as an admission exam to the higher education institutions. *ot
