Donetsk, May 24 – DAN. Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) has requested Russian accreditation for 18 of its academic programs, the DPR Minister of Education and Science Michael Kushakov said at the Innovative Perspectives for Donbass Forum.
"Our graduates will soon be receiving Russian diplomas for the first time in the history of the university," he said.
Next year almost all the graduates will obtain both DPR and Russian certificates.
Two DPR general-education schools have been granted Russian state accreditation this month.
Earlier, a number of DPR higher education institutions successfully obtained Russian accreditation: Donetsk National Medical University was the first one to do so. This year, four other higher education institutions and 11 colleges joined the tanks of accredited organisations. *ot
