Donetsk, Jul 15 - DAN. The United Russia Party will develop a three-year socio-economic programme for Donbass, deputy chairman of the State Duma (lower house of the Russian parliament) committee on CIS affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots, “United Russia” faction member Viktor Vodolatsky told reporters in Donetsk on Thursday.

“A draft programme of socio-economic development of the region for the next three years will be published,” Vodolatsky said. It covers all aspects of life, new jobs, decent wages, health care and education development in Donbass and youth policy.”

Programme designers will include recommendations of residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. These issues will be discussed in the DPR and the LPR every two or three weeks, the parliamentarian said.

On Thursday, “United Russia” representatives will take part in the international forum “Russia-Donbass: Unity of Priorities” in Donetsk. The participants will discuss Moscow’s efforts in protecting Russian speaking citizens outside the Russian Federation and the achievements of the Russian state in the key spheres of public life.

The forum is expected to gather some 800 participants, including DPR, LPR and Abkhazia officials, State Duma deputies, activists, scientists and teachers. It is taking place with the support from “United Russia.” A similar event took place in Lugansk on Wednesday.*jk
