Donetsk, Sep 2 - DAN. Ukrainian army units opened fire with 120mm mortars at the Kominternovo village in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic on Monday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.
“At 06:50 and 07:30, the JCCC recorded strikes by Ukrainian armed formations at the Kominternovo settlement,” the report said. “Ten 120mm mortar rounds and four SPG-9 recoilless gun rounds were fired and high calibre small arms were used.”
Fire was delivered from the direction of Kiev-controlled Talakovka and Lomakino villages, the JCCC added.
On top of that, the Leninskoye village in the DPR’s Novoazovskiy district was shelled with seven 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds on Monday morning.
At the last weekend, the Ukrainian army delivered a massive strike at the south of the Republic using heavy artillery. Multiple damage was recorded in Kominternovo.*jk
