Donetsk, Dec 22 — DAN. Two Donetsk People’s Republic servicemen who were presumed missing, have been found in Russian hospitals, DPR ombudsperson Darya Morozova told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Just the other day, thanks to cooperating volunteers and Russian doctors, we found the whereabouts of another two DPR servicemen who had been presumed missing, ” Morozova said. “Both had suffered serious wounds and were taken to Russian hospitals. Neither had ID papers. One of them has not yet regained consciousness; the other has amnesia. But both live, and have a favorable prognosis. Their identities have been finally ascertained.”
It is very important for DPR authorities to have more opportunities to help our defenders’ families in the search for their relatives, she added.
“To this end, I contact the administrations of all hospitals of the Russian Federation. I ask to report unidentified patients with war wounds to the DPR ombudsperson’s office or DPR Healthcare Ministry, ” Morozova said.
“One should never lose hope. I repeatedly saw the truth of it during the war years and my work to find missing persons, ” the ombudsperson said.*jk
