Donetsk, Jan 16 - DAN. Russian mass media plan to open their offices in the Donetsk People’s Republic this year, acting DPR Information Minister Igor Antipov told Donetsk News Agency.
“Plans are in place to open Russian media offices in the Republic,” Antipov said adding that he could not tell at this point whether they would open correspondent or editorial offices.”
“There’ve been requests by representatives of popular commercial Russian media outlets who wish to cooperate with us,” the official said.
He said DPR had already develop projects that leading Russian companies might find interesting. DPR authorities have not so far disclosed the names of the Russian media outlets wishing to launch operation in the Republic. *jk
