Donetsk, Nov 7 — DAN. Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov has signed the orders to establish prosecutor’s offices of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the press service of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office said on Monday.
“The order envisions the establishment of regional prosecutor’s offices and subordinate town, district, territorial or specialized prosecutor’s offices, ” the PGO said on Telegram.
Special commissions will handle organizational issues.
The Donetsk People’s Republic organized the operation of its prosecutor’s office in the first year of DPR establishment. It was headed by Andrey Spivak. The DPR parliament passed the law “On Prosecutor’s Office” in August 2018.*jk
