Donetsk, Aug 31 — DAN. The DPR has disclosed the coordinates of schools in Donbass and its liberated territories that children will attend to Ukraine and international organizations of the, the Russian Ministry of Defence said.
It has also published the coordinates on its website.
“Russia takes all necessary actions to protect these educational institutions from any kind of threats. Moreover, to provide an absolute safety of students and teachers, the Russian Defence Ministry publishes the addresses and exact coordinates of schools in the DPR, LPR and in Zaporozhye, the Kherson and Khrakov districts that open on September 1, and informs Ukraine and the UN, and international humanitarian organizations of the coordinates,” the statement reads.
A total of 1,422 schools will start the academic year this fall to accept more than 326,000 pupils.
The statement emphasizes that long-range attack weapons supplied by the United States and European countries have significantly expanded the ability of Ukrainian militants to engage residential infrastructure and educational institutions. The Ukrainian forces keep deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure of the Republics of Donbass and the liberated regions.
This year, to ensure security in schools, the DPR intends to introduce armed guards, as well as install alarm buttons at educational institutions. *ot
