Donetsk, Mar 4 - DAN. The Kirov Donetsk Republican Children’s Library will receive periodicals for children and adolescents from Russia starting April 2021, library Director Valentina Vyazovaya said at a meeting with Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin on Thursday.
“We met in this hall last year to mark Culture Workers Day, and I ask you to make arrangements for subscribing to Russian periodicals for children and adolescents,” Vyazovaya said addressing the DPR leader. “Thirty-five most popular, colourful children’s edutainment magazines will be available to our readers from April.”
Pushilin said that it was important to make the subscription available across the Republic. All DPR libraries’ stocks must have Russian periodicals, he said.
Earlier on Thursday, the DPR leader met with culture workers. The meeting brought together representatives of culture centres and organisations, artists and functionaries from Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yenakiyevo, Khartsyzsk and Starobeshevo. The event was devoted to the upcoming International Women’s Day.*jk
