Donetsk, Sep 6 — DAN. A delegation of the Donetsk People’s Republic has begun meetings at the 7th Eastern Economic Forum in Russia’s far eastern city of Vladivostok with the view of expanding the Republic’s international cooperation, the DPR Embassy in Moscow reported on Tuesday.
“DPR representatives hold business meetings to work out options for expanding international cooperation with friendly countries, ” the Embassy said on its official Telegram channel.
The delegation includes DPR Ambassador to Russia Olga Makeyeva, First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Peresada, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Yury Nikonorov and Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairperson Valeria Grigoryeva.
The Eastern Economic Forum was established in 2015 as an international platform for strengthening ties between Russian and international investors. The 7th Eastern Economic Forum opened in Vladivostok on September 5 and will run till September 8. The main forum program started on Tuesday. Guests from more than 60 countries have joined the main forum event. “On the Path to a Multi-Polar World” is the key theme of the forum this year.*jk
